After ending my workday, I hit the road to Tilles Park in Ladue then to Jellystone Park in Eureka to enjoy their Winter Wonderland and Santa’s Magical Kingdom holiday light displays. I enjoyed it. I arrived at the Winter Wonderland display just as the sun was setting. The orange sky made for a great backdrop to the colorful light display. The lights are beautifully done, and it’s worth a visit.
Santa’s Magical Kingdom sits in the Jellystone Park resort campground on a high bluff overlooking Six Flags St. Louis. I maneuvered through some lingering rush-hour traffic down Interstate 44 (farty-far) to get there. The semi traffic was a bit too plentiful for my taste. I made it though. It was likely my last visit to Santa’s Magical Kingdom. Many folks went to a lot of work to create the display, and many others staff it on cold, winter nights like this evening. It’s just a bit rustic for me. I’m glad I paid it one last visit though. It’s nice to have so many holiday attractions in St. Louis. 😊
